We’d been looking forward to the food in Bali to see if all the rumours about the healthy cafes were true. So here’s our guide to some of the best restaurants in Bali. Also, if you’re looking for Bali vegetarian food, all the restaurants in this Blog are completely vegeterian/vegan friendly.
The Avocado Factory – @theavocadofactory
The Avocado Factory has not long been open and they’re taking no time in making a great name for themselves! Any avocado lover or smoothie crusher will be in heaven at this little green hub. With their attentive, smiling staff and five star food, they’re already up there with the best restaurants in Bali. Oh, and how cute is this chillin’ little avo!…
Made’s Banana Flour Co. – @madesbananaflourco
The world’s 1st banana flour bakery – what more do you need to know.
Made’s serves up deliciously fresh banana pancakes, waffles and of course the best banana bread we’ve ever tasted! Conveniently located on Batu Balong, the main street in Canggu, we spent many a morning stroll down to kill our cravings!
MyWarung – @mywarung
MyWarung is one of our favourite evening spots in Canggu.
It has such chilled vibes and has the fine dining experience with a hipster twist. We had a lovely romantic meal there – the vegan red curry is insane – and may even use it for our anniversary date. Plus they have a few spots located around Bali!
Crate Cafe – @cratecafe
Crate Cafe is one of the hottest spots off Batu Balong.
Offering not only delicious food, but a shop, a beautiful view and happening vibes. Definitely the place to be this chill spot among the rice fields will keep you comfy for hours.
The Loft – @theloftbali
You’ll know the insta famous pink wall at The Loft as soon as you see it. With the caption reading ‘You’ll see it when you believe it’ it’s hard not to miss. Definitely an Instagram number one for the best restaurants in Bali.
Coffee Cartel – @coffeecartelbali
One of our favourite food and coffee spot in Bali let alone Seminyak.
Not only is the food delicious and the decoration so pretty, but the staff couldn’t be friendlier and more helpful! Plus they can put selfies on your coffee. If you get the chance to visit Coffee Cartel give them a high 5 from us!
Nalu Bowls – @nalubowls
The original king of the smoothie bowl, nothing we tried came close to the bowls that Nalu Bowls have to offer. Not to forget that super chilled outside shot everybody looks for. Nalu Bowls are also dotted around other places in Bali.
Shelter Seminyak – @shelterseminyak
Just upstairs from Nalu Bowls is one of the coolest, greenest places to eat in Seminyak.
Shelter dishes up some of the tastiest burgers and fruit smoothies, whilst displaying some awesome and inspirational travel murals on its iconic white and green walls.
Mad Pops – @madpopsbali
The strongest vegan ice cream is found at the one and only Mad Pops Bali.
These guys have taken the ice cream world by storm and with their neon lighting making for a must have photo, you’d be Mad not to visit. There’s a relatively new Mad Pops open now in Canggu too!
Sea Circus – @seacircus
This famous colourful wall art at Sea Circus spread across Instagram in an instant. Believe us when we say though, the food is just as impressive as the artwork. Sea Circus have nailed a unique style at their quirky diner cafe ranking high as one of the best restaurants in Bali.
Neon Palms – @neonpalmsbali
A sister chain to Sea Circus and located basically next door!
Neon Palms is essentially a cocktail bar come tapas restaurant and the perfect place to chill and take in the Seminyak vibes. With its recognisable colourful walls and awesome cheetah mural this is a spot definitely not to be missed!
Banh Mi & Beans – @banhmiandbeans
Fancy a little Vietnamese whilst in Bali?!
Banh Mi hits the spot every time with its traditional pate and coriander mix up served in fresh soft baguettes! To crush all your Vietnamese cravings and add a coffee on the side this is one of our favourite lunch spots.
Cinta Cafe – @cintacafe
A modern cafe with an original Bali lookout.
Serving up all sorts of breakfast foods, from the traditional avo & eggs to some awesome smoothie bowls. You can also grab brunch burgers and pasta dinners at Cinta Cafe. So if you’re looking for somewhere to chill amongst the rice fields in the Canggu/Berawa area then this spot is beautiful.
Kembali – @kembalibumbak
An up and coming chic cafe selling the most delicious smoothies and advertising a broad menu.
We visited Kembali on UK’s Pancake Day and enjoyed sweet waffles and fluffy pancakes. It’s fair to say we did not walk away unsatisfied.
OPIA Dining – @opiabalidining
We couldn’t finish the blog without giving OPIA a mention!
We visited Opia for Valentine’s Day and not only was the food amazing, but the ambience and location was beautiful. If you’re looking for a wedding venue in Bali (or anywhere in the world) Opia is your place. Definitely one of the most romantic restaurant in Bali!
