Touching down in Bangkok we knew it was going to be a busy few days. So we were in need of a place we could call home for a few nights and Golden Tulip Mandison Suites gave us exactly that.
Located right in the middle of the Sukhumvit district, Golden Tulip Mandison Suites is a 15-storey, 4 star hotel that offers 105 luxury guest rooms.
As soon as we arrived we were guided from the ground to reception. Then straight from reception to our spacious Grand Residence Suite. Consisting of a huge bathroom, living area, work station and kitchenette, the suite was more like our own little apartment for the weekend. The facilities were of the highest standard and all the gadgets/amenities were second to none.
The bedroom, with its smart TV and sophisticated decor, definitely gave off that modern feel. We were rewarded with two comfortable nights sleep after busy days in the capital and best of all, we had the joy of waking up to the beautiful Bangkok skyline from our very bedroom window.
The bathroom had the perfect layout, with a stand up shower, separate bath tub and a stylish sink set up. All stocked with useful amenities. The idyllic hotel washroom by anyones standards. With a floor to ceiling pane of glass looking through to the bedroom, it gave the perfect opportunity to watch sunset via the panoramic window whilst soaking in the bath.
The fantastic views from the pool area really had us enjoying our downtime at Golden Tulip. Located on the 4th floor we spent the majority of our time soaking in the Thailand sun and relaxing in the water. For those who like to stay active at their accomodation, there was also a fully equipped, modern gym area located on the 2nd floor. Also on this floor, they had board rooms and meeting facilities for those on business.
The breakfast buffet was another of our big hits. Having the choice of all you can eat Western and Thai foods definitely prepped us for the day. Not only that but the restaurant turned into a stunning dining experience come evening.
Overall our stay at Golden Tulip Mandison Suites was a perfect one. Inclusive of free shuttle runs to the Sukhumvit subway and the local Terminal 21 mall. If you’re looking for a laid back start to your Thailand adventure then this is your place.
