After a great few days in Clarke Quay, we chose to hop over to the east side of the city and visit Holiday Inn Express Singapore Katong.
Arriving at Holiday Inn Express Singapore Katong and getting checked in was just as swift, if not swifter, than Clarke Quay. We arrived rather late but the receptionists were still full of smiles and enthusiastically welcomed us into our stay.
We were guided to our room on the fifteenth floor and couldn’t have been happier to lay our heads down after three full on days exploring. There were options of soft or firm pillows and the duvet moulded to our tired bodies perfectly. The room itself was compact but ideal. With everything we needed from USB wall chargers to a coffee maker and a safe.
The bathroom again had everything we needed including all those little necessities and a separate hot jet shower. After long days in Singapore a reliable shower is definitely something we were relying on.
The mornings of our stay were always something to look forward. A huge selection of buffet breakfast items made sure we were set us up nicely and fully fuelled for our days out. The courtyard also made for a lovely place to take in the morning sun and enjoy some fresh air over a coffee.
Overall our stays with both Holiday Inn Express Singapore Katong and Holiday Inn Express Singapore Clarke Quay were perfect! If you’re looking for somewhere affordable and convenient for your Singapore trip, whether business or leisure, look no further.
