If you’re looking for the best Instagram spots in Helsinki then look no further. Here’s our ultimate photography guide to the Finnish capital.
Instagram Spots In Helsinki – An Ultimate Guide
Helsinki Cathedral
Senate Square, and Helsinki Cathedral in particular, is the most photographed place in the city.
Which is why the striking white church comes in first on our Instagram spots in Helsinki list!
Cafe Regatta
This little red cabin has become quite the spot on Instagram due to it’s sheer cuteness.
Many photographers and Instagrammers head just outside of the city centre to make sure they don’t leave the capital without a shot of it. Cafe Regatta is definitely worth a visit.
That’s without mentioning the incredible hot chocolate they serve inside!
Christmas Lights
It’s hard not to capture the beauty of Helsinki Christmas lights. Especially on Alexander Street.
Starting at Stockmann department store, they trail through the city and make for a beautiful night shot!
This was definitely our favourite of the Instagram spots in Helsinki.
City Streets
If you don’t fancy walking the streets at night, then the streets by day can be just as stunning.
We captured this shot down a quiet street, just as the first flakes of snow were starting to settle.
Sibelius Monument
A slightly unusual looking monument, but an artsy one non the less.
Sibelius Monument is another of the spots in Helsinki that people are desperate to find after seeing the weird and wonderful photos of it online!
It can be found just around the corner from Cafe Regatta in the middle of Sibelius Park.
Library Oodi
Newly opened, this futuristic building and central library is incredible!
It was something quite different for us to post on our Instagram, though we enjoyed getting creative down one of the aisles filled with books.
Library Oodi is a three floor thriller with everything from 3D printers to music recording studios!
Amos Rex Museum
These mole hill like sculptures are an iconic spot within the design centre of Helsinki.
Amos Rex Museum is known for its funky exhibitions, and amongst the children sliding down the hills on sledges, we managed to grab a quick photo.
