The ultimate guide to the most Instagrammable spots in Paris. If your planning to capture some famous shots in the city of love, here’s your go-to list.
Instagrammable Spots In Paris
Eiffel Tower – Trocadero Steps
So of course the Eiffel Tower tops the list, but where to get the shot from?
There are many angles when it comes to the iconic iron tower, our favourite being sunrise at the Trocadero steps. It’s an ideal place to start your day, even if you just enjoy the view.
Eiffel Tower – Place du Trocadero
After the sun has slightly risen you can head back from the steps to the platform at Place du Trocadero.
Here it’s a lot easier to dodge the crowds and not worry so much about the background, but focus yourself in the foreground.
Arc De Triomphe
Next up, The Arc de Triomphe is one of the most famous monuments in Paris, both for historical and photography reasons.
And if you’re looking for the ideal shot, this landmarks is best getting up at sunrise for to beat the crowds…and cars!
We headed straight to The Ace de Triomphe after the Eiffel Tower, arriving at around 7am to capture our shot with an empty background!
Home to the Mona Lisa and also one of the most photographed landmarks in Paris.
How can you go to the French capital and not take a visit to the Louvre Museum. We asked our followers on Instagram where they most wanted to see a photo of us in Paris, and this came in at first place!
The view from the top is incredible.
Giving a birds eye view over the whole of Paris, the Sacre-Coeur itself is like no other religious building we’ve ever seen.
Take your time and explore the area before heading back down into Montmartre.
Paris At Night
Whilst wondering the streets of Paris it’s hard not to capture the beauty of the lightly lit avenues.
Possibly our favourite photo/memory was on our way home one evening when we looked back and caught a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower from a distance.
We couldn’t resist but to create our own typical romantic Paris shot.
Sinking House Of Montmartre
When you talk about Instagrammable spots in Paris, this one should top the list.
Rising to fame thanks to social media, this illusion looks as if the house next to the Sacre-Coeur is sliding beneath the earth.
Possibly the most famous cafe in Paris, again thanks to Instagram, and the beautiful red and white colours compliment anyone’s feed.
Located deep in the streets of Montmartre, make sure to pop in and purchase a coffee to keep you going, and of course grab a candid photo on the way out.
La Mansion Rose
Montmartre, as you may have gathered, is one of the quirkiest and most tourist friendly areas in Paris.
Unfortunately La Mansion Rose was closed when we visited but we could help but add it to our Instagrammable spots in Paris list.
Torn between treating ourselves to a show at the famous Moulin Rouge, or heading down for a sunset in front of the Eiffel Tower, we chose the latter.
Although as we passed by the most famous cabaret in the world, we couldn’t pass up on the opportunity of a photo outside.
Pigalle Basketball Court
Probably the latest of the Instagrammable spots in Paris.
This crazily coloured basketball court isn’t top of everyones ‘places to visit’ list – but it sure does make a great photo. And is becoming more and more popular with photographers!
Cathedral Notre Dame
This ones for the Disney lovers!
Not necessarily one of the most Instagrammable spots in Paris, but take a step back into your childhood and visit the one and only home of Quasimodo.
Eiffel Tower – Rue De L’université
Another angle of the most famous tower in the world.
This time from a quirky backstreet and another of the most Instagrammable spots in Paris.
Like a scene from a movie, we headed over to Rue De L’universite in the late afternoon and if you google the street name, this spot is easy enough to find.
Picnic At Champ De Mars
The final photo in our Instagrammable spots in Paris guide.
What better way to end your Paris trip than by watching the sun set over the Eiffel Tower with a bottle of wine or a picnic.
Grab some food, grab some friends and take in the true ambience of the surrounding area!
