With the Lombok beaches being one of the hottest attractions on the island. We scanned the coastlines and here’s our guide to the best beaches in Lombok.
Lombok Beaches – The Best Beaches In Lombok
TANJUNG AAN BEACH – For the bluest water and softest sand
Before we headed to Lombok, Tanjung Aan Beach was right at the top of our recommendations.
The Kuta beach is covered in pristine sand and, with it’s iconic swings dotted around the bay, it was a place we had to visit. Now we can firmly say Tanjung Aan Beach has to be one of the best beaches in Lombok.
SEGER BEACH – For a hidden gem
Seger Beach is a new up and coming spot and in our opinion one of the best beaches in Lombok!
The sands are pure white and the ocean is ridiculously blue. Only the true beach hunters know about this one, so you might even be lucky enough to relax with no one else there!
SELONG BeLANaK BEACH – For beginner surfers
Selong Belanak Beach is a beautiful white sand beach ideal for beginner surfers.
We headed out West from Kuta to hit the beaches for the day and this one is mainly for surf lessons although can be a good chill spot if you enjoy fresh fish – it’s a hub for local fishermen.
SEMETI BEACH – For AN EPIC SUNSET SPOT
Semeti Beach was the perfect way to finish off our full day of beach hopping around Kuta.
If you looking for Lombok beaches with a sunset view then this is your spot! The tide is low around sunset but the rock pool reflections make for a memorable sunset!
MAWI BEACH – For THE pro surfers and chilled vibes
If you’re looking for some of the best surf in Lombok then Mawi Beach is your spot.
We visited for the day and although we don’t surf it was great fun to watch the guys out in the waves and everybody around Mawi is there for same thing. The vibes were good, the people were friendly and it’s an awesome spot to chill and grab some vegetable noodles.
The Gili Islands – For tropical paradise
Of course if you’re heading to Lombok you’ll already know about the Gili Islands but we had to include them in the best beaches in Lombok blog.
Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and Gili Meno are home to some of the clearest blue waters and most famous snorkelling in Indonesia. So if you’re talking the most tropical Lombok beaches then these have to be visited.
