Love Valley Cappadocia is a place of natural wonders. These giant penis shaped monuments were left by mother nature and are now a huge hit amongst tourist. Here’s all you need to know.
Love Valley Cappadocia
The most popular place to stay in Cappadocia is Goreme, and then Uchisar. Uchisar being much more quiet and laid back. We stayed in both towns and they are equally as stunning with completely different vibes.
From Goreme to Love Valley it takes around 10 minutes by car, and from Uchisar around 15 minutes.
Rent A Driver – The cost of a driver for a couple of hours should cost no more than 100 Turkish Lyra (around 17 Euros) – a good option if you only want to see a few places.
Rent A Scooter – You can rent motorcycles for 80-100 Turkish Lyra per day. If you’re not a confident scooter driver though, we’d say give this option a miss. Some of the roads are like dirt tracks so it can be pretty easy to lose control.
Rent an ATV – If you’re looking for the most adventurous option, renting an ATV would certainly be a great option. The prices differentiate depending on how long you want to rent one for and which company you use. Some companies let you rent them alone and some companies prefer a tour guide to come along with you. The prices start at around 35 Euros for 2 hours.
There is no entrance fee at Love Valley Cappadocia.
Love Valley Cappadocia is a hidden valley with scenic formations to say the least. Despite the resemblance to man hood, these amazing rock formations are far from man-made.
They are ancient structures that sit at over a thousand metres altitude. There is generally no rainfall in the area but the Cappadocia does have really hot, dry summers and cold, snowy winters.
At Love Valley Cappadocia, you can visit the viewpoint from above or you can trek right down to the base of these huge structures. It’s a safe and easy hike and you get a real feel of the Cappadocia magic.
There are a lot of tours available in Cappadocia where the Love Valley is included.
While you’re capturing photographs with these unusual monuments, don’t forget to stop at the specifically designed photo spots lined up along the edge of the valley.
Also, before you leave, don’t forget to make a wish at the wish tree! A long, historic Turkish tradition.
Luxury – Koza Cave Hotel (Goreme) or Wings Cappadocia (Uchisar) – THE best possible service and family run businesses you could ask for. Depending on whether you’re looking to stay in Goreme or Uchisar, we can’t recommend these two accommodations enough!
