Old Market Helsinki is located just across from Allas Sea Pool, in the main ferry dock of Helsinki.
It is around a 10 minute walk from Helsinki Central Railway Station.
If you don’t fancy walking, the closest tram stop is Kauppatori. Just a 100m walk to the entrance.

The Old Market Hall in Helsinki is the oldest indoor market in all of Finland.
Opened in 1889, it has always been a place for local vendors to sell there produce to the masses.
Everything from fish to meat, and pastries to breads can be found within the lively atmosphere of the indoor market. There are over twenty shops serving local and international tourists daily.
Making it the ideal place to grab lunch or a snack during your city tour.
We took a walk around and tried some of the local delicacies. And although it’s only worthy of a short stop, it definitely gave us a real feel for the Finnish people.
