How To Get To Pasut Beach Bali

Pasut Beach is around 30 minutes north of Tanah Lott Temple in Canggu.

If you’re driving up from Canggu, it takes roughly an hour by scooter and the drive mainly consists of local village roads.

We always choose to rent scooters, which start at around 50,000 IDR per day, and explore ourselves. However be sure to read up on our Renting A Scooter In Bali guide beforehand! If you’re looking for somewhere to rent scooters from you can book a trusted scooter rental here.

Another option is to rent a driver, which is pretty popular for day trips around Bali, and they start at around 500,000 IDR per day (8 hours). Here’s an easy link to book a private car with a driver for the day.

What To Expect At Pasut Beach Bali

Many locals and now tourists are heading to Pasut Beach to ride their bikes up and down the unique black sandy coastline. If you choose to do this just make sure you have travel insurance to cover an accidents. We’ve seen a lot!

There’s also an oddly shaped palm tree that has caught many people’s attention and thanks to social media, Pasut Beach is now a must see destination for those heading to Bali.

We headed over to the beach in the late afternoon, and for us it was definitely the perfect time to visit. Not only were we rewarded with an amazing sunset but the black sand beach Bali is definitely something interesting and special.

Unfortunately, there was quite a lot of litter as you may spot in one of the photos. It all seemed to have been washed up from the ocean. This was the only downside to Pasut Beach.

The Palm Tree Forest

There’s a beautiful spot underneath the palm trees at Pasut Beach.

Just to the left of the entrance, you will be able to spot it right away. It’s a forest of hundreds of tall shadowing trees and we happened to catch our a most incredible sunset in Bali under those palms.
