What To Expect At Red Rock Hot Spring

Red Rock Hot Spring is a real fascinating piece of nature.

It takes its sources of warm water, ranging from 37.5 – 39.5 degrees celsius, from a naturally occurring spring which spouts through an opening by the pool.

It started as a private sanctuary to relieve stress owned by a local family from Valencia. They then decided to build a pool around the stream to accommodate more family members.

The public started to make use and enjoy the waters, which prompted the owners to open it officially for the people and name it Red Rock Hot Spring. The newest and most sought out place for leisure and nature-tripping.

Around 5 minutes before you hit the springs you’ll cross a bridge with steam rising from underneath the rocks. Incase you’re unsure if you’re in the right spot, you’ll be hit with a strong eggy smell.

Inside Red Rock Hot Spring though there are no bad smells, just smiling faces. The owners were super friendly and welcomed us with open arms to their popular spot.

It’s an ideal way to spend the afternoon after exploring the surrounding Valencia area or just to take some down time and relive the body of its aches and pains.

Their were a few tourists when we visited and it was in no way uncomfortable to relax in.

After exploring the surrounding waterfalls of Casaroro and Pulangbato, what better way to spend the evening!

Hi, my wife and I want to spend 1-2 weeks there. Is there on site lodging? If so prices for a budget room. If not, where should we book a room that is close by? Ty

Ah you’ll love it guys. To be honest we didn’t look into accommodation too much as we ventured here whilst staying in Dumaguete!
