Kawasan Falls is definitely one of the top things to do in Moalboal. Although that’s not all there is to do in the area. Here’s what not to miss!
Things To Do In Moalboal – The Top 3 MUSTS
If you don’t already know where to stay in order to visit the famous Kawasan Falls, then Moalboal is your place.
There are a few spots in Badian town which is where the falls are located but most people stay in Moalboal which is just a 20 minute tricycle ride away from Kawasan Falls. We bartered the guy down to 300 pesos to get there.
Diving In Moalboal
It’s not only Kawasan Falls, there are other things to do in Moalboal. A huge one for Lauren, as you can tell by the photo, and an awesome intro to scuba diving!
We went out with the guys from Blue Orchid Resort who helped us through our DSD (Discover Scuba Dive) in the pool before taking us around the house reef and out into the deep blue sea via a boat the next day. Diving in Moalboal has cleared ticks on our buckets lists as well as create the most beautiful memories for our Philippines trip.
Sardine Run Moalboal
It’s not just the falls and turtles though.
The Moalboal coastline is famous for its sardine run and you don’t need to dive! You can snorkel just off the shore all year round to see the millions of sardines swarm around you in something that can only be described as a planet earth documentary episode!
