Getting Around Koh Phangan + Tips
Getting around Koh Phangan couldn’t be easier.
Before we start, if you’re looking for transport to and from the islands in Thailand, you can pre-book all of your Lomprayah transfers here.
We always choose to rent scooters to get around the islands, which start at around 150 Baht per day, and explore ourselves.
Most accommodations will be able to source you a scooter, however if you’re looking for recommendations Budget Two (located close to Thongsala Pier) have always been great!
Another option is pay for tuk tuks, which are pretty popular for day trips around the island, however they can soon add up. So make sure you plan your day efficiently and maybe look into hiring one for the day!
For those short on time, or that prefer everything to be organised for them, there are some awesome tours on Get Your Guide available to book in advance.

If you’re looking for an alternative day out on Koh Phangan then Slip N Fly may be your thing!
Slip N Fly is aimed at the travellers, the chillers, the couples and the party goers. All of whom are looking for a water filled day out on the island.
As the name suggests you can Slip N Fly into the plunge pools, shoot basketballs into hoops and have a game of water volleyball. All whilst taking in the island sun and chilling with friends.

Enjoy A Chilled Evening At Amsterdam Bar
Koh Phangan is full of bars and chill spots. Some however come with some awesome viewpoints!
Our favourite of the bunch was Amsterdam Bar. Known on the island as the best place to watch a Koh Phangan sunset. With good vibes and views overlooking the ocean!
There are others plenty of others though including 360 Bar and Bluerama to name a couple.
Either way catching sunset at a rooftop bar is one of the best things to do on Koh Phangan for your final evening!
